Trinity gives Laurel Highlands the boot

Trinity kicker Sam Trapuzzano kicked a 29-yard field goal with 11:10 remaining in the fourth quarter to lead Trinity (1-3, 1-4) to its first win of the season, 10-8, over Laurel Highlands in a Big Nine Conference game at Hiller Field.

Trinity took the lead in the first quarter on an 11-yard run by Bajour Hall.

Laurel Highlands took the lead in the second quarter when Forrest Cullings was tackled in the end zone and Jimmy Pierce scored on a 1-yard run.

Trinity finished with 126 rushing yards, and Cullings completed seven of 12 passes for 91 yards.
