1 min read

It was a tough day for Waynesburg at the Cal Ripken Experience in Myrtle Beach Wednesday. Medina (Ohio)’s Megan Paradise pitched a perfect game against the Raiders in the first game of the day, while striking out 10.

In the second game, Waynesburg turned to starting third baseman Hannah Gibbons to pitch the second game of the doubleheader and she experienced some growing pains in the circle, walking six batters as the Raiders lost to Boyd (Ky.), 17-4.

Taylor Staley had two runs batted in for Waynesburg and Jenna Henry was 4-for-4 with 2 RBI. The Raiders’ overall record drops to 2-6.
