Baseball: CV stops Trinity with 1-hitter
Chartiers Valley compiled 14 hits and only allowed one in the Mustangs’ 10-0 Section 3-AAA Tuesday over host Trinity.
Winning pitcher Dom Constello allowed just one hit and struck out nine for Chartiers Valley (8-3, 12-3).
The Mustangs scored three runs in the first inning and added one in the second, five in the fourth and one in the sixth to cut the game short.
Trinity is 1-7, 4-10.
