World Series schedule for Tuesday revised
A power outage in the section of Washington that includes Lew Hays Pony Field caused the postponement of the final game on Monday’s schedule.
The game between unbeatens Hilo, Hawaii, and Los Mochis, Mexico, which was originally scheduled for 8 p.m. Monday, had to be rescheduled because of darkness. It will be played at 10 a.m. Tuesday as part of a five-game schedule.
Bay County, Mich., and Levittown, P.R., will play an elimination game at approximately 12:30 p.m., followed by Chesterfield County, Va., and the loser of the 10 a.m. game in another elimination contest. That game will begin at 3 p.m.
Undefeated Chinese Taipei will play the Bay County-Levittown winner at 5:30 p.m. A victory by Chinese Taipei will put the Asia-Pacific Zone champion in the Wednesday night’s title game.
The final game Tuesday will match the Hilo-Los Mochis winner against the winner of the 3 p.m. game.
