Kenny Klase scored a game-high 21 points, including 10-for-10 at the free-throw line, to lead Waynesburg University to an 83-63 non-conference victory over Pitt-Greensburg Monday night at Rudy Marisa Fieldhouse.

Waynesburg (3-5) broke open a close game in the second half. The Yellow Jackets led by only 35-31 at halftime, then made six of their 10 three-point field goals in the second half and made 22 of 29 free throws.

B.J., Duham, Jason Propst and D.J. Ritchie each contributed 10 points for Waynesburg.

Pitt-Greensburg (3-5) had a miserable night shooting from long distance, making only two of 22 three-point attempts. The Bobcats shot 39 percent from the field.

A free throw by Klase gave Waynesburg the lead for good at 57-56 with 5:19 remaining and sparked the Yellow Jackets on a 19-4 run.

Jerell Figueroa paced UPG with 20 points.
