Washington & Jefferson College forward Chelsea Apke was named third-team All-Great Lakes Region by D3hoops.com.

Apke, who played two seasons at W&J after transferring from NCAA Division I Presbyterian, scored 512 points last season, second only to Leigh Sulkowski’s total of 616 points during the 2005-06 season. She also grabbed 303 rebounds, the third-highest single-season total in school history.

Apke averaged 17.1 points and 10.1 rebounds per game and shot 56.6 percent from the field, which ranked 19th in NCAA Division III. Apke was the first W&J player to average a double-double for a season since Nikki David in 1995-96.

Thomas More’s Sydney Moss was named the regonal player of the year.
