Wash High remains perfect with win over Charleroi

Jonathan Spina threw for 142 yards and two touchdowns and also ran for a score as Washington remained unbeaten with a 58-21 victory over Charleroi in an Interstate Conference high school football game Friday night.

Spina threw touchdown passes of 52 yards to DeQuay Isbell and 40 yards to Nate Swart for the Prexies (6-0, 6-0), who had 489 total yards in the game.

Malik Wells added 130 yards rushing and a touchdown on just 10 carries, while Kurt Adkins, Jordan West, Connor Bedillion and Lyle Webb also scored rushing touchdowns for Washington.

Brock Shannon had 167 yards rushing and a touchdown on 19 carries for Charleroi (0-6, 0-6), while Matt Carr completed 8 of 18 passes for 120 yards for the Cougars.
