USC shuts out Canon-McMillan

Danny Trocano completed nine of 13 passes for 175 yards and three touchdowns as Upper St. Clair moved closer to a playoff berth with a 28-0 victory over Friday host Canon-McMillan in an Southeastern Conference game.

USC (3-3, 3-4) led 21-0 at halftime as Trocano threw scoring passes of 57 yards to Marqus Galie, 29 yards to Doug Wagner and 30 yards to Mike Krenn.

Thomas Viwssman closed the scoring with a 25-yard scamper in the third quarter.

Canon fell to 0-6 in the conference and 0-7 overall.
