Girls soccer: Watkins scores 3 as Charleroi blanks Ringgold

Kyra Watkins scored three goals to leasd Charleroi to a 4-0 non-section victory over Ringgold Saturday night.

The playoff-bound Cougars ended the regular season with a 16-2 record and will take a 14-match winning streak into the postseason. Ringgold is 9-6.

Kaitlyn Riley scored one goal and assisted on one of Watkins’ tallies. Halee Fedrick had two assists.

• Madison Burnside and Brenna McGuire each scored a goal as South Fayette defeated host Elizabeth Forward, 2-0, in a non-section match Saturday afternoon.

Goalkeeper Natalie Caraway had her 10th shutout of the season for the playoff-bound Lions (13-4).
