Clairton gets revenge, routs Monessen

MONESSEN – Lamont Wade scored three touchdowns as undefeated Clairton routed Monessen 60-0 Friday night in an Eastern Conference game.

Monessen upset Calirton last year to end the Bears’ record-setting winning streak.

Wade scored on runs of 36, 65 and 85 yards for the Bears (7-0, 8-0). Ryan Williams threw a TD pass of 37 yards to Aaron Matthews and Clairton had two returns for touchdowns.

Monessen fell to 4-4 overall and in the conference.
