Jeannette hands Bentworth non-conference loss

Zack Altieri carried the ball just four times, but he gained 165 yards and scored three times as Jeannette jumped out to a 37-0 first quarter lead Friday night and cruised to a 62-20 non-conference win over Bentworth.

Julien Batts added 116 yards passing, completing 7 of 8 passes, and throwing for two touchdowns for the Jayhawks (7-1).

Ethan Tush had two rushing touchdowns for the Bearcats (3-5), who also got a receiving touchdown from Felix Hernandez from Ryan Wise.

Josh Hughes completed 15 of 29 passes for Bentworth for 179 yards, with Noah Peternel making eight receptions for 140 yards.
