Turnovers plague Charleroi in loss to Freedom

Nick Henderson completed 16 of 30 passes for 220 yards and a pair of touchdowns as Freedom jumped out to a 28-0 halftime lead and held on to beat Charleroi, 28-18, in a non-conference game Friday night.

Brenton Harrison caught one of the TD passes and also scored on a 15-yard interception return for Freedom (2-7).

Matt Carr threw three touchdown passes in the second half, two to Greg Arnold, and had 231 yards passing to help lead the comeback for the Cougars (1-8), who had four interceptions in the game.

Brock Shannon caught the other touchdown pass for Charerloi.
