Defense takes night off as LH outscores Trinity, 55-42

UNIONTOWN – Laurel Highlands sent Trinity down to its second straight loss in an offensive shootout, 55-42, in a Big 9 Conference game.

Colton Jordan rushed 20 times for 120 yards and a touchdown and Joey Koroly had 50 on 7 and a touchdown.

Quarterback Forrest Cullings completed 8 of 10 passes for 153 yards and 2 touchdowns. Zach Cain had three receptions for 100 yards, including a 34- and 54-yard touchdowns.

Nick Moretti returned an interception 55 yards for a touchdown and Koroly had a 70-yard kickoff return for a score.

Laurel Highlands is 2-0.
