Hein runs for 212 as Mapletown beats Carmichaels

CARMICHAELS – Adam Hein rushed for 212 yards and scored all five touchdowns in Mapletown’s 30-2 victory over Carmichaels in the Tri-County South Conference.

Both teams are 1-1 in conference games. It was the Maples’ first win over the Mikes since 2005.

Hein scored on a 53-yard run to open the scoring and had TD runs of 16, 86 and 21 yards. He also caught a 16-yard pass from quarterback Ben Boone.

Matt Rush had a team-hgih 11 tackles and Matt Hein had 7, and rushed for 47 yards on three carries.

Carmichaels scored on a safety when the ball was snapped out of the end zone by Mapletown.
