Rush has 3 TDs in Monessen win
Lavell Rush caught three touchdown passes to help Monessen to a 35-26 victory over Riverview in a Class A Eastern Conference game Saturday.
Rush caught a 10-yard pass to open the scoring and closed out the half with an 11-yard reception that gave the Greyhounds a 22-0 lead.
Demond Jordan ran 18 times for 78 yards and scored on runs of five and 11 yards.
Noah Rullo completed 13 of 21 passes for 138 yards and three touchdowns for Monessen (1-0, 1-1).
Riverview fell to 0-2.
