Extra-point sends West Greene to victory in 4th overtime

ROGERSVILLE – West Greene and Serra Catholic combined for eight quarters and 87 points Friday night.

But it was West Greene that came away with a 44-43 victory in four overtimes, thanks to Harry Inghram’s successful extra-point attempt in the final OT. Inghram also had a field goal.

Cal Miller had 21 carries for 223 yards and three touchdowns for the Pioneers. Owen Main threw for one TD and Tyler Baker caught it.

Regulation ended tied 23-23. Both teams scored eight in the first OT, sero in the second and six in the third.

Joe Satira caught 17 passes for 173 yards and five touchdowns for Serra.
