Prexies’ Spina-to-Isbell combination too much for Brownsville

Jonathan Spina threw three touchdown passes, all to Dequay Isbell, as Washington remained unbeaten with a 51-12 victory Friday night over Brownsville in an Interstate Conference high school football game.

Spina, who completed 6 of 8 passes for 168 yards, hooked up with Isbell on TD passes of 12, 50 and 48 yards for the Prexies (4-0, 4-0), who led 38-0 at the half.

Malik Wells added 115 yards and a touchdown on just five carries, while Kurt Adkins scored twice for Washington, which overcame 14 penalties for 110 yards.

Brownsville (0-3, 0-4) had 222 total yards, but permitted Washington to gain 441.
