Allen scores 2 touchdowns to lift Carmichaels over Cal

CARMICHAELS – Coty Allen rushed for a pair of touchdowns in the first quarter and also intercepted a pair of passes as Carmichaels held off California, 34-22, in a Tri-County South game Friday night.

The Mikes (2-2,. 2-3) led 34-8 in the fourth quarter when Nick Mundell scored on a 31-yard run, but T.J. Troutman threw a pair of touchdown passes in the fourth quarter to pull the Trojans (0-4, 0-5) closer.

Shaun Dulaney had 86 yards on 17 carries for Carmichaels.

Troutman completed 5 of 8 passes for 98 yards, while K.C. Vagicek caught two touchdown passes, including one from James Bongiorno for California.
