Beth-Center rides Welsh past West Greene

FREDERICKTOWN – Anthony Welsh had five carries for 158 yards and three touchdowns and also returned a punt 60 yards for a score as Beth-Center defeated West Greene, 48-0, in a Tri-County South game Friday.

Welsh scored on runs of 33, 37 and 69 yards for the Bulldogs (4-0, 5-0), who scored all of their points in the first half.

Nico Brown added a pair of interceptions, scoring on one, while also catching a touchdown pass from Trent Cunko.

Jason Stay also scord on a short run for the Bulldogs, who face Frazier next week in a battle of conference unbeatens.

West Greene falls to 0-4, 1-4.
