1 min read

California University sophomore Savan Salter broke one of the oldest school records over the weekend at the Bison Outdoor Classic at Bucknell University.

Salter placed second overall in the 400-meter hurdles, which featured more than 40 entries, with a time of 53.59 seconds. He eclipsed the school record set in 1980 by Harrison Woods by more than five-tenths of a second. Salter has the third-fastest time in the PSAC this season in the 400 meters.
