JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (AP) — Micah Mason scored 20 points, including the game winning 12-foot jumper with 2 seconds left, to help Duquesne edge St. Francis 67-65 on Saturday.

Mason finished on 9-of-14 shooting with six rebounds and a game-high four assists.

Trailing 64-63 with 26 seconds left, Duquesne’s L.G. Gill pulled down an offensive rebound off a Derrick Colter missed free throw and laid it in to put the Dukes (8-2) up by one.

Colter’s foul on the ensuing possession sent Greg Brown to the line with a chance for St. Francis to regain the lead. Brown made 1 of 2 to tie it at 65-all, setting up Mason’s last second heroics.

Basil Thompson missed the game winning 3-point attempt at the buzzer for St. Francis.

Colter scored 13 points for the Dukes, who have won five of their last six.

Brown led the Red Flash (3-5) with 16 points.
