Kiski holds off C-M wrestlers

Kiski won eight bouts, including two pins, to take a 35-20 victory from Canon-McMillan in a nonsection wrestling match Tuesday night.

The Big Macs led only once, 3-0, after Nick Konyk took a 4-3 decision from Alex Delp to start the dual meet at 195 pounds.

Logan Macri had an 8-7 decision over Cam Connor at 113, Matt Oblock stopped Bobby Lawrence, 17-3, at 126, and Tim Hritsko decisioned Collin Murray, 10-3, at 132 to pull Canon-McMillan to within three points, 16-13.

Kiski won four of the next five to push the lead to 16-6 and followed with three in a row to make it 29-17.

Micah Kusturiss shut out Tom Starr, 9-0, at 160 and Blaze Kansco got the Big Macs final win of the night with a 6-2 decision over Vinny Romano at 170 pounds. The Big Macs forfeited the final bout to Tyler Worthing.
