Posley scores 36 as St. Bonaventure beats Duquesne

PITTSBURGH — Marcus Posley scored 36 points, Youssou Ndoye had 20 points with 15 rebounds and Jaylen Adams added 15, including the last four of the game as St. Bonaventure rallied to defeat Duquesne 100-97 in overtime on Thursday.

Adams hit a jumper with 1:54 left to tie the game at 93 to start a string of five straight scoring possessions but after his basket with 20 seconds left, Duquesne missed and Adams hit two free throws with 8 seconds left.

The Bonnies (11-6, 4-2 Atlantic 10) trailed 51-39 at the half.

Posley had three 3-pointers and a three-point play in the final 2:35 of regulation, his eighth 3 coming with six seconds left — for his career high in points and 3-pointers made. Two free throws by Ndoye with 3:06 left started the 14-2 surge in the final three minutes, erasing a 12-point deficit.

Micah Mason had 18 points and Derrick Colter 17 for the Dukes (6-11, 1-5).
