Waynesburg’s Resnik, W&J’s Groves honored

Waynesburg University junior pitcher Brian Resnik was named to second-team All-Mideast Region by D3Baseball.com Monday,

Resnik, a Burgettstown High School graduate, led the Yellow Jackets with a 9-3 record and 2.73 ERA. He was the Presidents’ Athletic Conference co-pitcher of the year.

Washington & Jefferson’s Riley Groves, who was PAC co-Pitcher of the Year along with Resnik, was named to the third team. Groves went 9-2 this season with a 2.17 ERA.
