C-M’s Gladden finishes third
Canon-McMillan junior Chris Gladden was defeated in the semifinals Saturday of the PIAA Class AAA tennis championships at the Hershey Raquet Club by Michael Dickson of Downingtown East.
Dickson, a sophomore, edged Gladden, 6-4, 6-4, to advance to the finals, where he was beaten by Latrobe’s Chad Kissell for the state title.
Gladden rebounded from his defeat to knock off Fox Chapel’s Sid Rajupet, 6-3, 6-3, for third place.
