W&J women fall to Carnegie Mellon

Liza Otto and Jackie Hudepohl added 14 points each for CMU (1-0), which led 47-26 at the half.

Anna Novak added 10 points, while Jennifer Mayberger added 10 rebounds and six assists for the Tartans, who outrebounded W&J (0-1) 55-38 and limited the Presidents to 27 percent shooting.

Bekka Bellhy scored 16 points and had nine rebounds for W&J, but was just 4 of 18 from the field. Amirah Moore added 11 points and Taley Dunaway 10 for W&J.
