BURGETTSTOWN – Damien Barrett had 24 carries for 150 yards and two touchdowns as Ellwood City edged Burgettstown, 14-0, in a non-conference game at Hill memorial Stadium.

Barrett’s first score, a 45-yard run, came with just under five minutes remaining in the second quarter, while his second score, a 1-yard plunge, came with 5:54 remaining in the game.

Nicholas Ianelli added 136 yards rushing on 27 carries for Ellwood City (2-3).

Brad McLaughlin threw for 141 yards for Burgettstown (2-3), but completed just 13 of 34 passes on a rainy, windy night. He was intercepted twice.

The Blue Devils rushed for just 17 yards.
