Boys soccer: Bentworth’s Amos gets 100th win

Chad Gurdish and Levi Jordan scored to propel Bentworth to a 2-0 win over Brownsville in a non-section match Tuesday night to wrap up the regular season.

Will Bashioum earned the shutout for the Bearcats (13-3-2) and head coach Gary Amos earned his 100th career win.

The Falcons finished the regular season with a 3-13-1 record.

• Nick Sodini and Andrew Balog each scored in the second half to give Canon-McMillan a 2-0 victory over host South Fayette in a non-section that concluded the regular season for the two playoff-bound teams.

Luke Maher had an assist for Canon-McMillan and goalkeeper Christian Snatchko had the Big Macs’ seventh shutout.

Both teams have 14-3 records.
