Carr drives Brentwood past Fort Cherry

BRENTWOOD – Patrick Carr scored three times, including one late in the fourth quarter to help Brentwood put the game away in a 28-14 Black Hills Conference win over Fort Cherry.

Carr scored on a pair of runs in the first quarter as Brentwood (2-0, 2-0) took a 13-0 lead.

Devon Brown, who completed 11 of 26 passes for 171 yards with two interceptions, trimmed the lead to 13-6 with a 50-yard TD pass to Austin Wood with 32 seconds remaining in the first quarter.

Brentwood made it 20-6 on a Ricky Gralish TD pass to Dorian Bowie before Brown scored on a 4-yard run to pull the Rangers (1-1, 1-1) within one score late in the third quarter at 20-14.

Scott Miller had four catches for 63 yards for the Rangers.
