COLUMBUS, Ohio – Beau Bennett scored the only goal of the game in the third round of a shootout and Jeff Zatkoff made 23 saves Monday night in the Pittsburgh Penguins’ 1-0 preseason win over the Columbus Blue Jackets at Nationwide Arena.

Pittsburgh goalie Tristan Jarry relieved Zatkoff at the start of the third period and made seven saves. He denied Oliver Bjorkstrand, Alexander Wennberg and Ryan Murray in the shootout.

Pittsburgh was 0-for-5 on the power play.

Columbus was 0-for-4 on the power play.

Blue Jackets goalie Joonas Korpisalo played the entire game and made 39 saves.
