South Fayette keeps on rolling

GLASSPORT – Drew Saxton completed 11 of 15 passes for 133 yards and five touchdowns Friday night as South Fayette jumped out to a 51-0 halftime lead en route to a 58-6 Century Conference win over South Allegheny.

Rhyan Culbertson caught three of the scoring passes – all in the first quarter – for the Lions (4-0, 4-0), who have won 36 consecutive games.

Hunter Hayes had 84 yards rushing on just six carries and returned an interception for a touchdown, while Jason Massie-Sears recorded three tackles, two of which were sacks, and a pair of safeties.

Johnny Beck added 85 yards rushing on six carries for the Lions, while Johnny Obenour had a 55-yard touchdown run.

South Allegheny (1-2, 1-3) scored its lone points on a fourth quarter kick return by Jason Jones.
