Rohanna makes big move up leaderboard

1 min read

Rachel Rohanna of Waynesburg shot an even-par 72 Saturday and made a big move up the leaderboard at the Symetra Tour’s Murphy USA El Dorado Shootout in El Dorado, Ark.

Rohanna, who was in 58th place after the first round, was steady in the second round with one birdie and one bogey. The consistency helped her move up 35 spots and into a tie for 23rd place. At 5-over for the tournament, Rohanna is seven shots behind leader Sara-Maude Juneau.

The top 10 finishers on the Symetra Tour’s money list after the season-ending tournament in Daytona Beach, Fla. (Oct. 15-18) will earn LPGA Tour cards for 2016. Rohanna began the week in ninth place on the money list.
