Dallas scored three runs in the top of the first inning and cruised to a 6-2 win over the Pennsylvania Rebellion in an NPF game Saturday night at Consol Energy Park.

Taylor Gadbois singled and stole second before No. 2 hitter Renada Davis walked. Both players advanced on a double steal and scored on a two-run, one-out single by Lauren Haeger. Kaylyn Castillo then added an RBI single to make it 3-0 off Rebellion starter Miranda Kramer.

That would be all the runs Dallas starter Morgan Melloh needed. Melloh allowed two unearned runs, scattering five hits and striking out eight for the Charge (16-27).

Kylee Lahners also drove in two runs for Dallas.

Stacy Porter had two hits for the Rebellion (15-28).
