Girls basketball: Lampe sisters, West Greene bury Hundred

Sisters McKenna and Madison combined for 36 points and West Greene won its 10th game of the season, overwhelming visiting Hundred (W.Va.), 76-10, Tuesday night.
The Pioneers (10-2) forged a 34-0 lead after one quarter, led 46-3 at halftime and cruised the rest of the way.
McKenna Lampe led West Greene with 19 points and Madison Lampe followed with 17. Kaitlyn Rizor followed with 15 points and Savannah Pettit gave the Pioneers a fourth player in double figures with 10 points.
West Greene returns to section play Thursday, hosting 3-A leader Jefferson-Morgan.
East Allegheny 62, Bentworth 48: Amani Johnson proved to be too much for Bentworth to handle.
Johnson, a sophomore, scored 32 points to power East Allegheny to a 62-48 win over the host bearcats in a non-section game. The win gives East Allegheny an 8-4 record.
Bentworth (2-9), which trailed by five points entering the fourth quarter, was led by Heather Chester’s 18 points. Tori Cicci followed with 13 points.
