Rebellion power past Pride

ORLANDO, Fla. – Alisa Goler drove in three runs as the Rebellion whipped the USSSA Pride, 10-3, Thursday night at Champion Stadium in an NPF game.

Whitney Arion homered and drove in two runs for the Rebellion (12-22), while leadoff hitter Olivia Watkins scored three times, reaching base once on a hit and walking twice. Cheyenne Cordes had three hits.

The Rebellion pounded out 10 hits against Pride pitching, scoring seven runs off starter Chelsea Thomas before she was lifted in the fifth inning.

Miranda Kramer, scattered five hits over four innings, allowing three runs, while Haylie Wagner allowed just one hit over the final three innings for the Rebellion.

Kelly Kretschman and Lauren Chamberlain both homered for the first-place Pride (21-10), who have now lost seven of their past 11 games.
