Steelers lose Blake, Garvin

The Steelers lost a pair of free agents Thursday, as cornerback Antwon Blake signed a one-year deal with the Tennessee Titans and linebacker Terence Garvin joined the Washington Redskins.
Blake, 25, started all 16 games for the Steelers in 2015, recording 76 tackles, two interceptions and one sack. Blake also had an interception in the playoffs at Cincinnati.
Blake was signed as a free agent by the Steelers in 2013 after being released by Jacksonville, which had signed him as an undrafted free agent out of UTEP in 2012.
Garvin, a West Virginia product, was signed by the Steelers in 2013 out of a rookie tryout camp. He appeared in 43 games the past three seasons, mostly on special teams,
Both players signed one-year deals.
The losses of Blake and Garvin bring the total free agent departures from the Steelers to five in the past four days.
Earlier this week, the Titans also added linebacker Sean Spence, while offensive tackle Kelvin Beachum signed with Jacksonville, nose tackle Steve McLendon joined the New York Jets.
The Steelers have signed two outside free agents, former San Diego tight end Ladarius Green and former Denver offensive tackle Ryan Harris.
