High school softball: South Fayette not half bad in doubleheader

South Fayette split two games played at the Cal Ripken Experience in Myrtle Beach, S.C., Friday, defeating Whitehall, N.Y., 3-0, and losing to Liverpool, N.Y., 9-2.

Bailey Kormick was the winning pitcher against Whitehall, striking out five and not issuing a walk. Sara Jubas had two hits. The Lions are 2-2.
