Jeff-Morgan trio lifts Rockets over Maples
Three Jefferson-Morgan boys basketball players scored in double figures to lead the Rockets to a nonsection win over Mapletown Monday night.
Jalen Torres, DL Garrett and Devin Stoneking scored 21, 17 and 12 points, respectively, to defeat the host Maples 57-35.
After scoring only five points in the first quarter, the Rockets rattled off scoring quarters of 17, 17 and 18 to finish the game.
J-M improves to 4-2, while Mapletown falls to 0-5.
