Kolton Rush continued his big week by scoring 28 points and dominating on the boards with 20 rebounds as West Greene handled visiting Bentworth 76-40 Wednesday night in a non-section game.

Rush, who scored 33 points Tuesday night in a win over Geibel Catholic, helped the Pioneers (11-4) extend their winning streak to six games. He had plenty of support as Craig Weaver scored 18 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, and Zach McHenry tossed in 11 points. West Greene led 31-18 at halftime and then broke open the game with 45 second-half points.

Steve Harner led Bentworth (8-8) with 19 points and Ray Logan had 11.

Beth-Center 45, Carmichaels 34: Beth-Center used the three-point shot to slip past visiting Carmichaels 45-34 in nonsection play.

Beth-Center (5-10), which had defeated the Mikes last month, made eight three-point field goals and only six from inside the arc. Brennan Stanley led the way with 16 points and four treys. Andrew White followed with 14 points and J.J. Green had 10.

Carmichaels (6-11) stayed within striking distance by making 17 of 20 free throws. Cody Brown was the Mikes’ leading scorer with 11 points.

Greensburg Salem 63: Ringgold 59: Ringgold erased a 28-17 halftime deficit but couldn’t get over the hump in a 63-59 non-section loss to Greensburg Salem.

The Rams (9-9) got to within two points of Greensburg Salem (6-10) in the fourth quarter but never took the lead.

Marvelle McGowan had 25 points for the winners.

Anthony Pampina scored 16 points, Jake Mayer 15 and Chris Pecon and Tyrice Adams 10 for the Rams.
