W&J to host PAC baseball tournament

Washington & Jefferson has earned the top seed and hosting rights for this weekend’s Presidents’ Athletic Conference Baseball Tournament.
The four-team, double-elimination tournament will be held Thursday through Saturday at Ross Memorial Park.
W&J (21-3, 30-9) won its 10th PAC title and has claimed six league titles since 2004.
Also earning spots in the tournament are second-seeded Thomas More College (15-7, 26-10), third-seeded Grove City (14-10, 17-17) and fourth-seeded Thiel (13-11, 21-17).
The tournament winner will earn the conference’s berth to the NCAA Division III Championship that begin May 18.
Admission to all PAC tournament contests is $5 for adults and $2 for students.
