Fort Cherry wins 5th straight, blanks Avella

AVELLA – Quarterback Ryhan Culberson scored four touchdowns to propel Fort Cherry to a 37-0 win over Avella in a Tri-County South game in a Class A Tri-County South Conference game Friday night.

It was the fith win in a row for Fort Cherry (3-1, 5-1).

Culberson scored on runs of 70 and 2 yards, returned a kickoff 85 yards and a punt 70 yards for scores.

Matt Staley recovered a fumble in the end zone for a TD and kicked a 20-yard field goal for FC.

Quarterback Owen English ran for 124 yards for Avella (0-5, 0-6).
