South Fayette keeps on winning, hammers Blackhawk

McDONALD – Johnny Beck, Johnny Obenour and Drew Saxton combined for six touchdowns to help South Fayette rout Blackhawk, 43-0, Friday night in a Class 4A Northwest Nine Conference game.

The win was the 53rd consecutive regular-season win for South Fayette. The streak is the second-longest in WPIAL history.

Beck ran eight times for 103 yards and scored on runs of 43 and nine yards for the Lions (4-0, 6-0). Saxton completed 13 of 26 passes for 177 yards and hit Ryan Kokoski from six yards and Johnny Obenour from 55 yards for score. Obenour also scored on a four-yard run.

Blackhawk fell to 1-3 and 1-4.
