The Rockets scored first with an 80-yard pass from Jacob Broadwater to DL Garrett. Just more than 90 seconds before the end of the first half, Taylor ran for a 7-yard score. After a successful two-point conversion, Monessen led 8-6 going into halftime. Colten Davidson gave Jefferson-Morgan (0-1, 1-2) a 12-8 lead with eight minutes to go in the game on a four-yard run.
