EF sets up Interstate showdown by blanking Waynesburg

WAYNESBURG – Brian Malloy, Seth Anders and Gavin Martik each scored two touchdowns to help Elizabeth Forward shut out Waynesburg, 31-0, Friday night in an Interstate Conference game.

Malloy scored on runs of 2 and 6 yards, Anders ran it in from 14 and 20 yards and Martik caught a 51-yard pass and returned a punt 62 yards.

Waynesburg fell to 0-3, all conference losses.

Elizabeth Forward remained unbeaten in the conference at 2-0. The Warriors (2-1 overall), who are in a three-way tie for first place, set up a key Interstate game next weekend against McGuffey in Elizabeth.
