Koroly sets two records in Trinity’s victory
BEAVER FALLS – Trinity tailback Joey Koroly broke both the school’s single-game rushing record and the career touchdown record Friday night during a 62-34 nonconference win over Blackhawk.
Kolory ran for 358 yards on 34 carries and scored four touchdowns. The latter mark gave him 43 for his career, two more than Ben Jennings had before graduating in 2005.
Koroly scored on runs of 9, 21, 1 and 40 yards, helping the Hillers to a 42-13 halftime lead.
Dylan Kern passed for 188 yards and 3 touchdowns for the Hillers (2-2). Cole Bair had 5 receptions for 51 yards and a score.
Blackhawk’s record is 1-3.
