Canonsburg Sportsmen’s Association and Washington County Sportsmen’s League will be sponsoring a Youth Field Day Saturday, Aug. 4 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. It will be held at Canonsburg Sportmen’s Club at 1115 Allison Hollow Road, Washington. Mingo Rod & Gun Club will hold a fishing derby Saturday, July 14 at Lake Leoni. Prizes will be awarded. A hunter safety course will be held at the clubhouse Saturday, Aug. 4. Membership meetings are held on the third Sunday of each month, beginning at 3 p.m. The clubhouse is open Wednesday evenings at 7 p.m. Shooting ranges are available to members Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to sunset, and Sunday 10 a.m. to sunset. Canonsburg Sportsmen Club’s trap range is open to the public at 6 p.m. every Wednesday. The club’s 3D archery course is open to the public.
