Boys soccer MVP – Bryce Gabelhart

A combination of quickness and agility made Gabelhart hard to stop on the pitch. He scored 10 goals and had 15 assists from his forward position in rugged Class AAAA Section 2 and he led the Indians to the league title with a 10-0 record. He was key player in helping the Indians to a silver medal in the WPIAL Championships and wins over Erie McDowell and North Allegheny in the PIAA tournament. Gabelhart, who led PT in scoring as a junior in 2016, had 30 goals and 45 assists for his career and was named to the all-state team as a junior and senior. “Bryce is one of the best because he has a work rate that is fantastic,” PT coach Bob Dyer said. “He’s skilled and he has a great knowledge of the game. Above all else is his desire and determination to win and work hard.”
