Who to watch: Junior tailback Ryan Magiske went over 100 yards in the Indians’ 35-7 first-round triumph over Armstrong last Friday. The 5-10, 180-pound running back ran for 126 yards and a pair of scores. For the season, Magiske leads Peters Township with 949 yards on the ground and 19 total touchdowns. Junior Gabe Dunlap is a key catalyst for the Warriors with 1,202 passing yards, 788 rushing yards and 24 total touchdowns.
Noteworthy: Both teams come into the quarterfinal matchup with winning streaks. Peters Township is riding a five-game streak and after dropping their first two games of the year, Penn-Trafford has rattled off nine straight wins. … Both teams have played stingy defense. The Indians have allowed 13.8 points per game and the Warriors have given up 11.5. … Penn-Trafford has advanced to the finals in two of the last three seasons, losing to Central Catholic in the finals in 2015 and suffering a loss to Gateway in last year’s final.
