South Fayette wins outright conference title

McKEES ROCKS — Jamie Diven passed for three touchdown as South Fayette routed Montour, 31-0, in a Class 4A Northwest 8 Conference game Friday night.

The win assures the Lions (7-0, 9-1) the outright title in the conference.

Diven, who completed 12 of 27 passes for 237 yards, hit RayQuin Glover from 41 yards, Andrew Franklin from 6 yards out and Mike Trimbur from 51. Diven also ran one in from 5 yards out. Trimbur had 7 receptions for 89 yards and Franklin rushed for 48 yards on 8 carries.

Montour fell to 3-6, 3-4 in the conference.
