McGuffey overwhelms Carmichaels

CLAYSVILLE – Christian Clutter scored three first-half touchdowns to help McGuffey roll over Carmichaels, 55-0, in a Class AA Interstate Conference game.

Clutter scored on runs of 26 and 56 yards and returned an interception 22 yards for a third score for the Highlanders (2-0, 4-0). Marshall Whipkey hit Brendan Crowe with a 40-yard score and ran one in from 67 yards. Bryton Johnson and Rocco Falosk also had TD runs.

McKinley Whipkey scored on a 2-yard run in the second half for McGuffey. Clutter rushed for 82 yards, Whipkey passed for 63 and Crowe had 40 receiving yards.
